Terms of Service

By creating an Einlang account, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Einlang. These terms form the entire agreement between you and Einlang regarding the service.

You must be at least 16 years old to use Einlang. By creating an account, you confirm you meet this requirement. We verify age at signup and delete accounts found to belong to users under 16.

You may use Einlang to process educational material you own or have legal access to. You confirm at signup that any material you scan is a textbook or other resource you own or are otherwise legally entitled to reproduce in this manner.

You must not: use Einlang to process material you do not own or have access to; attempt to extract, scrape, or reproduce Einlang's AI-generated content at scale; reverse-engineer or attempt to access Einlang's backend systems; use the service to violate any applicable law.

By using the scanning feature, you represent that you own or have legal access to the material you scan. Einlang's scanning functionality is intended for personal study use only. Commercial reproduction, redistribution, or sharing of AI-generated content derived from copyrighted material is not permitted.

If you believe content generated from your material infringes a third-party copyright, you can report this to einlanglt@gmail.com. For DMCA notices, contact einlanglt@gmail.com with the required information.

Subscriptions are offered on a weekly, monthly, or annual basis. Payment is charged to your App Store or Play Store account at confirmation. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

Price, billing cycle, and auto-renewal terms are disclosed in the app before purchase and in your App Store / Play Store subscription settings. To restore a previous purchase, tap "Restore purchases" in the app settings.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Previously processed content remains accessible in read-only mode after cancellation.

The free tier allows one theme to be fully processed at no cost. No credit card is required. Access to new scanning, AI Chat, and Practice features requires a paid subscription after the first theme.

You may delete your account at any time from your profile in the app. Deletion is immediate (you can no longer log in) and hard-purges all data within 30 days. This action is irreversible.

Einlang is provided as-is. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We will communicate planned and unplanned outages via in-app banners. We are not liable for losses caused by service interruptions.

AI-generated content (grammar explanations, vocabulary, exercises, tests, chat responses) may contain errors. Einlang is an educational aid, not a certified language instruction service. Do not rely on Einlang as the sole source of accuracy for high-stakes language assessment preparation.

Every piece of AI-generated content has a feedback control. Please flag errors.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Einlang's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid to Einlang in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, particularly the acceptable use and textbook ownership provisions. We will notify you unless prohibited by law or urgent circumstances.

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Einlang is incorporated. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.

We may update these terms. We will notify you of material changes via in-app notice or email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
